Joseph Vorin was a man who turned up in a disoriented state in Frankfurt an der Oder, Germany in 1851, claiming, in an odd, barely understandable form of German, to have come from a land called Laxaria on the continent of Sakria "beyond vast oceans." Whoever he was, Vorin's tale is sometimes used as evidence for teleportation, parallel worlds and suchlike.
